Ethiopia 2025
The NoDE Institute is organizing a medical outreach initiative to Ethiopia, with a team of doctors and nurses. For the second year in a row, we will work at the MADDA WALABU UNIVERSITY GOBA REFERRAL HOSPITAL in the Oromia region for 11 days, starting on October 24, 2025.
Having trained and collaborated with the medical and nursing staff of this hospital in 2024, we return a year later with more targeted action, having added new medical specialties in response to the needs and resources available there.
Our activities will include:
working in the Operating Room with local doctors and nurses to assist in their daily tasks, sharing modern surgical techniques during surgeries
providing educational programs and talks for medical staff and students.
donating 300kg of medical supplies and equipment to support Goba hospital, which faces resource shortages.
The NoDE Institute promotes a model of continuous medical education and, recognizing both the great need and the significant contribution of its presence, makes MADDA WALABU UNIVERSITY GOBA REFERRAL HOSPITAL in Ethiopia the annual base for its medical missions.
