C.RO.S.S. Training

The Colorectal Robotic Surgical Skills (C.RO.S.S) is a two-day training course in Robotic Colorectal Surgery aimed at surgeons with experience in minimally invasive surgery.

A prerequisite for participation in the **Colorectal Robotic Surgical Skills (C.RO.S.S.)** course is that the applicant has attended one of the following courses:

Advanced Group Course

When applying, the applicant must complete the registration form and upload, in the designated field, the certificate of attendance for the program they have completed.

The two-day seminar includes:

1st day
The theoretical component, featuring interactive viewing of recorded surgical procedures, tips and tricks for a successful robotic procedure, and case discussions.

2nd day
Observation of a robotic colorectal surgery case using two consoles in the operating room.

During the training, particular emphasis is placed on demonstrating techniques that ensure surgical procedures are performed in accordance with oncological principles. The aim of the seminar is to teach robotic surgical techniques to surgeons who are already sufficiently familiar with the use of the da Vinci system. Participants will be organized into groups of two, with one instructor assigned to each group.

The seminar is held at HYGEIA Hospital, and the dates for 2026 are as follows:

Registration for the training program can be completed through the website by filling out the relevant registration form and uploading a certificate of attendance from a course offered by Intuitive or the Isle Academy. The registration period usually opens two months before the program date.

Participation in the program is free of charge, as is participation in all educational programs organized by NoDE.
