Dr. Sofia Tsokani is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Hygiene, Social & Preventive Medicine and Medical Statistics, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. A mathematician by training, she holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Ioannina, and earned her PhD in 2023 from same university with a thesis on statistical models for quantitative evidence synthesis, with a particular focus on network meta-analysis (NMA) and meta-analysis of diagnostic tests. Her research interests are dedicated to advancing the methodological foundations of evidence synthesis through meta-analysis and network meta-analysis for both intervention and diagnostic test networks, in order to facilitate reliable analyses and interpretation of clinical and epidemiological evidence.
