Welcome to the Node Institute’s advanced hands-on seminar on transanal techniques for rectal cancer surgery, focusing on both Transanal Total Mesorectal Excision (TaTME) and the Transanal Transection Single-Stapled Anastomosis (TTSS) approach, organized by Johnson & Johnson.
The aim of this program is to provide participants with a balanced training experience that combines theoretical teaching with hands-on cadaveric dissection. By structuring the seminar equally between the two techniques, delegates will gain a clear understanding of the principles, operative technique, complications, and practical applications of each approach.
Day 1 includes focused lectures, interactive discussions, and video-based learning, offering insights from our faculty into anatomy, step-by-step procedures, tips and tricks, and complication management.
Day 2 offers hands-on cadaveric dissections, with close supervision to practice and improve surgical skills in a realistic setting.
This course aims to not only enhance your technical expertise but also encourage critical reflection on how to safely integrate these techniques into your practice, for the benefit of your patients.
